On September 27, every donation counts – Munich Peace Conference 2027
Dear friends of peace,
Preparations for the 2027 Munich International Peace Conference are already in full swing. From February 12 to 14, 2027, we aim to once again create a space where people can discuss peace, disarmament, diplomacy, and shared paths out of the logic of war.
Especially in these challenging times, a peace conference like this is more important than ever.
We have lots of ideas for interesting topics and guests. However, finding suitable venues is already proving to be a major challenge. Many of our requests have already been turned down, and we’re still looking.
If you know of an event venue in Munich that can accommodate about 300 people, we'd really appreciate any suggestions.
We need you to make sure the peace conference can take place!
In order to make a binding reservation for a venue and cover the remaining costs of the conference, we need a financial foundation. The peace conference is largely funded by donations—which is why it’s so important to have many people supporting our work.
On Sunday, September 27, there will be a special event:
Betterplace is hosting a donation marathon with a matching fund campaign from 9:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., supported by the Sparkassen. Our project is participating!
This means that donations received for our project on this day will be matched from a limited funding budget as part of the campaign. Since this budget is limited, it’s worth donating as early as possible—so that our donation is as likely as possible to benefit from the matching campaign.
