Prof. Dr. Sabine Schiffer founded and directs the Institute for Media Responsibility, which aims to promote discourse and media analysis as a school subject. Her research focuses on the intersection between the Fourth Estate (the media) and the Fifth Estate (PR and lobbying), with a particular emphasis on war propaganda. She teaches journalism and communication in Frankfurt am Main.
