Letter from the IPPNW Board of Directors to Lord Mayor Dieter Reiter dated February 7, 2024 regarding the Munich Peace Conference
It reads:
“In times of increasing militarization and armament, the discussion of peace policy alternatives such as disarmament, arms control and diplomacy is all the more urgent. The long-standing institution of the International Munich Peace Conference, as an alternative event to the closed security conference that is open to all citizens, offers a suitable space for this.”
