Call of the Action Alliance against the NATO Security Conference
Negotiating instead of shooting – disarming instead of arming
Come to the demonstration on Saturday, February 18th, 2023
at 1 pm in Munich at the Stachus!
Take to the streets with us (on February 18, 2023, starting at 1:00 p.m. on Stachus) for disarmament and against preparation for war, for worldwide social justice, for solidarity with refugees and for a democratic, social and ecological transformation of society. Get involved – become active, because peace policy, disarmament, and consistent climate protection will only be possible through growing social pressure and a strong extra-parliamentary movement. Become a supporter and sign our call!
We are mobilizing against the so-called Security Conference (SIKO), which will take place in Munich from February 17 to 19, 2023. Heads of state and government as well as politicians meet there with top military officers and representatives of major corporations and the arms industry.[01] The NATO countries set the tone there.[02] They are concerned with securing the strategic supremacy of Western capitalist states and their corporations,[03] not about people’s safety, either here or elsewhere in the world. The main purpose of SIKO is to agree on a common strategy among NATO countries against rivals Russia and the PRC-China.[04] Above all, however, the armament of NATO is to be advanced and justified.
