On March 25, 2022, Fridays for Future will hold its tenth global day of action under the slogan #PeopleNotProfit. There will also be an action on this in Munich. More information will follow here soon.

Our demands

To the Federal Government:

  • Reach net zero in 2035
  • Coal phase-out by 2030
  • 100% renewable energy supply by 2035

Until the end of 2019:

  • The end of subsidies for fossil fuels
  • Shut down 1/4 of coal power
  • A tax on all greenhouse gas emissions. According to the UBA, that’s 180€ per ton of CO₂.

To the City of Munich:

To show what measures are needed at the local level to implement the nationwide demands, we have made demands on the city of Munich:

  • End operation of HKW Nord 2 by 2022 and reduce it to a minimum by then
  • Car-free zone within the Mittlerer Ring by 2025 at the latest
  • Equipping all new buildings with photovoltaic or solar thermal systems
